Quiet Reflection :: Unplugged

"Follow effective action with quiet reflection. From the quiet reflection will come even more effective action." -Peter F. Drucker

Do you "unplug" completely without once relapsing into technology?

Do you take time to discover your thoughts at the tip of a pen?

Turn off, unplug and tune into your own thoughts today.

It's amazing what you will discover without the constant barrage of social information, advertisements and the latest breaking news.

How often do you allow yourself time to reflect on your day or week? What activity helps you?

  1. mmmmm, such a great reminder Danielle, especially on a Monday. Waking up at 5:30 am for an hour of meditation, reading and writing helps with my balance. But your words have me thinking abut taking short breaks during the day to unplug and just breath a little. Thank you!

  3. Thanks Cheryl, I am trying to be more mindful of unplugging and enjoying my own uninterrupted thoughts, a walk in the park, a great book or even just washing dishes and watching the birds in the back yard.

    Seems as though we are 'plugged in' and available 24/7 :: a little 'off the grid' time would do us all a world of good. :)
